Student Success Toolkit

Our Student Success Toolkit Canvas course is designed to help you make the most of your time at MIT, ensuring academic, extra-curricular, career, and personal wellbeing success.

Student Success Toolkit

Anyone with MIT credentials can access Canvas and this course.

What is the Student Success Toolkit?

This resource consists of checklists meant to support you during your time at MIT. Broken down by class year, our checklists contain recommendations of the most important items to keep on your radar, to ensure academic, extra-curricular, career, and personal wellbeing success. Not every checklist item will apply to you – that’s okay!

Connected to each checklist is a repository of “supplemental resources”. These supplemental resources should help if you have additional questions about accomplishing an item on the checklist.

I don’t have time to take a Canvas course – can I get the TL;DR version?

Yes! The checklists without the supplemental links can be downloaded here.
Make a copy of the checklists and keep track of your progress digitally, or download the PDF and print a hard copy.

What are the supplemental resources?

The supplemental resources should help if you have additional questions about accomplishing an item on the checklist. For example, links to resources to understand HASS requirements, p-sets, registration, declaring your major, and more.

You can always check in with an advisor at the UAC for information and support as well!
